NEW YORK ANNOUNCED VACCINATION REQUIREMENT FOR NIGHTCLUBS

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York, announced the new requirements on August 3, and the new rules are set to take effect on August 16.

de Blasio stated: “If you want to participate in our society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated. The only way to patronise these establishments is if you are vaccinated, at least one dose.”

Those wishing to attend New York City nightclubs will need to prove that they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

New York became the first city in the United States to show NYC COVID Safe app, Excelsior pass or CDC vaccine card to access restaurants, bars, gyms and other public places.
